Polaris memory expansion daughter board - technical overview

The Polaris Memory Expansion Daughter Board is a plug-in module that provides the Polaris main processor board with additional RAM and flash memory. This memory expansion is necessary for Polaris RTU configurations that run many applications concurrently. Depending on the option specified, the daughter board can support up to 512 KB of flash memory and 256 KB of RAM (128 KB volatile RAM, plus 128 KB battery-backed RAM).
