IoE2 troubleshooting - failure to download, node not present or responding

Symptom:

• Download fails
• Node not present or not responding
• RTU failed to accept data

Solution:

1. Verify IoE2 is powered on and heartbeat light is blinking.
2. Verify cabling is correct. IoE2 serial ports are DTE requiring only receive (pin 2), transmit (pin 3), and ground (pin5).
3. If more than one node is in the system, verify that node 1 is working and connected.
4. Place IoE2 in default mode and retry the download.
5. If using IP download, verify IoE2's IP address / parameters are correct (use IPCONFIG command in calterm).
